Josie Wicks your event hostess, is one of our 2024 Stars of Newcastle participants who has donated her time to raise vital funds for the Cancer Council NSW.
Starry Dayz Social is an event that brings together, like minded, community members who have been affected, directly or indirectly, by cancer who wish to contribute to a charity very close to Josie’s & her family’s heart.
Please join Josie one of our local Newcastle NICU nurses and her family, for a daytime event filled with, great fun, wonderful company, live entertainment and delicious canapés, all for an honourable cause.
Attending Starry Dayz Social not only provides guests with a memorable experience but also offers opportunity, for a meaningful contribution to cancer research and support services.
Each entry ticket includes:
A direct contribution to the Cancer Council NSW.
Glass of bubbly on arrival.
Canapes served throughout event.
Live local entertainment

The highlight of the evening is an exclusive auction, an opportunity, to bid on incredible items while supporting a worthy cause. Including: Incredible holiday packages, fun activities, food, beauty & fashion items up for grabs at the auction.
Guests will be encouraged to end the night on the dance floor, to celebrate and enjoying each other's company in a spirit of camaraderie, goodwill & compassion.
So please come together for a Starry Saturday with Josie & your fellow community members to raise funds & raise a glass in supporting the cancer council and honour Josie’s Aunty Loz.

Theme: Casual cocktail attire.
If you would like to represent the cause more directly then please come dressed in either a pop of yellow for the cancer council or purple to represent Josie’s late Aunty Loz, our star in heaven, who passed from bowel cancer in 2022.
The venue is disability accessible with a lift.
