State of Downtown 2026, presented by the Sacramento Kings, brings together public officials, business leaders, and community partners to discuss the current state and future direction of downtown Sacramento.

For years, Downtown Sacramento Partnership has had one singular mission: Build Value Downtown. Now, with our expanded district taking effect at the beginning of 2026, we are entering a new chapter with new possibilities. This year’s theme, “Downtown’s Next Decade,” sets the stage for us to share our vision for the next ten years — outlining how we’re taking the reins on building the foundation of a clean and safe central city, while curating, alongside our partners, a vibrant 24-hour destination where innovation, culture, and commerce converge.
