Where the Barkly is now, what’s changing and the trends shaping the region.

What’s happening across the Barkly and what could it mean for the region’s communities, businesses and organisations?

Join RDA NT and .id (Informed Decisions) for a State of the Region briefing taking a closer look at where the Barkly is today, what’s changing and some of the key trends shaping the region.

Drawing on the latest available information, we’ll explore the Barkly’s population, workforce, industries, economy and communities, providing a clearer picture of the region and some of the shifts worth watching.

The session will help you better understand what is happening across the Barkly and consider what these trends could mean for local communities, services, businesses, projects and future planning.

Whether you work in business, government, local government, an Aboriginal organisation, the not-for-profit sector or another organisation working across the Barkly, this is an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day and look at the bigger regional picture.

Come along to hear what the information is telling us, consider how the Barkly is changing and join the conversation about what it could mean for the region.
