Hospitality is one of the most popular industries for international students, but do you know your workplace rights? Hospitality work can be busy, flexible and a great way to gain local experience, but it can also come with risks like underpayment, insecure hours and unfair treatment.

What you’ll learn

How to read and understand your payslip
What wage theft is and how to recognise it
What casual conversion means
How to use the PACT tool to check your pay and conditions
How superannuation payments work
What changed for workers on 1 July

Knowing your rights can help you stay safe and protected at work.

Facilitated by Mads and Cara from We Are Union Women's Team.

This event is delivered by Migrant Workers Centre.
