St Catherine's Major Fundraiser 2025 Gala Lunch
Event description
St Catherine's School, in partnership with the St Catherine's Foundation, are thrilled to invite you to the 2025 Gala Lunch.
Guests will enjoy a delicious three-course meal at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, followed by drinks overlooking Darling Harbour at the rooftop Zephyr Bar.
We are excited and honoured to welcome Olympic champion Cathy Freeman OAM as our special guest, in conversation with Ally Langdon, as we come together to support the St Catherine's Indigenous Scholarship Fund.
Cathy Freeman was the first Indigenous Australian person to become a Commonwealth Games gold medalist at age 16 in 1990. Over her career, Cathy represented Australia at three Commonwealth Games, as well as the Barcelona, Atlanta and Sydney Olympic Games, where she won gold in the 400m.
Off the track, Cathy has been an inspiration for generations, being named Young Australian of the Year in 1990, followed by Australian of the Year in 1998. In addition to these incredible achievements, Cathy received the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2001 and was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2005.
St Catherine’s School is honoured to welcome Cathy as we come together to raise funds for our St Catherine’s Indigenous Scholarship Fund. We look forward to hosting you on the day.
