Steady Heart for Syria brings together local artists based in and around Naarm to raise money for refugee communities in Turkiye and Lebanon, and internally displaced people in Syria. All proceeds will go directly to the work of Basmeh & Zeitooneh, a refugee-led relief and development organisation responding to the acute needs of displaced and host communities helping people reclaim dignity and agency over their lives.

Mallee Songs will share their acoustic miracle, post punk sweethearts, Winternationale will play for us ahead of their sojourn to Dark Mofo, and Firas will spin some tracks into the evening. There will be drinks, food by Souma and the opportunity to take home truly special art via silent auction.

ACCESSIBILITY Eastmint is accessible via wheelchair through the non main entrance, there is a small sliding door frame that needs to be negotiated. Please get in touch if you require this option. We regret we are unable to provide accessible toilet facilities at this time. Closest accessible toilets located at the Peacock Hotel 150m away. There are no windows that are openable in the space but we will open the double doors between sets for airflow. The space is quite cavernous with high ceilings and is an unrenovated warehouse so not tightly sealed. We do not have our own HEPA filter but try to source one for gigs when we can.
