Steely Dead - A Sonic Fusion of The Grateful Dead and Steely Dan

February 6 & 7, 2026 • Public House • Crested Butte, CO

Doors: 8 PM • Show: 9 PM

Hailing from Denver’s vibrant music scene, Steely Dead delivers a unique fusion of two iconic catalogs, bringing the jazz rock precision of Steely Dan together with the free flowing improvisation and song segues of the Grateful Dead. Their setlists weave between both bands’ classic tunes, creating a nostalgic, high energy journey through the golden era of rock and roll.

Across two nights at Public House, expect soulful guitar work, deep pocket grooves, rich keys, and improvisations that stretch familiar songs into new territory. Steely Dead shows feel less like typical tribute nights and more like communal gatherings where fans come to celebrate the music they love, dance, and get lost in the songs together.
