Steeped in Thought: Mental Health & the Artist’s Mind
Event description
Join us for an insightful and restorative experience with Willeen Capehart, a mental health consultant and owner of Garden of Freedom Counseling. This creative talk and mental health workshop will explore how mental well-being influences the artistic process, offering tools and techniques for managing stress, building resilience, and nurturing creativity.
As we dive into meaningful conversations about the challenges artists face, you’ll sip on soothing blends from Black Leaf Tea, embracing tea's calming and healing properties to enhance relaxation and reflection. Whether you’re an artist seeking balance or simply looking to deepen your understanding of the creative mind, this workshop provides a supportive space to connect, share, and grow.
Hosted at Public Shop & Gallery, this event is a pay-what-you-can ($5-$25 donation) to help support our efforts in continuing these events while making them affordable for you all!
