SteerCo Play: Governance takes centre stage - Auckland Branch Event
Description
Note: This is the Auckland In Person Event: WZ Building, AUT City Campus, 6 St Paul St, Auckland CBD
Event Description
What happens when competing agendas, optimistic reporting, uncomfortable truths, and questionable decisions all collide around the Steering Committee table?
SteerCo Play brings the realities of project governance delivered through a Steering Committee to life through theatre. Meet the diligent Project Manager, the sceptical Assurance Lead, the commercially driven optimist, the challenger who refuses to accept the corporate line, and a Sponsor trying to turn competing perspectives into clear decisions.
It is funny, deliberately familiar, and occasionally uncomfortable. Beneath the humour are serious questions about accountability, evidence, ethics, decision making and what effective governance actually looks like when tested.
Coming to Auckland and Wellington in partnership with PMI, as well as The Project Community - Christchurch, SteerCo Play is an opportunity for project, programme, and governance professionals to see familiar behaviours played out on stage, reflect on what good looks like, and continue the conversation with their professional community.
Come along and enjoy the play. Recognise the all-too-common character behaviour. Stay for the governance chat.
