Stein I : The Wild West

You get back home after your first day of uni, knowing there’s no danger of you attending another lecture in person this semester. As you lie down in bed your mind starts to drift…

You’re sitting at the bar in a saloon with the sound of glasses clinking and an out-of-tune piano in the background, knowing the night is slowly dying and the sheriff could rock up at any minute. You have to make a choice – get on your horse, or get horsed. No-brainer. Another glass of whiskey is set down in front of you and as you take your next swig, you suddenly wake up to the thought of that coursebook you forgot to buy.

You’ve now spent 3 days sitting at home watching lectures from the day before at 2x speed and you still can’t stop thinking about that dream. All of a sudden, you remember that tickets for the AUES Wild West Stein are about to drop.

That’s right – stein season is back for 2025 and we can’t wait to have you along for STEIN I: WILD WEST on Thursday 13 March at Family Bar.

Non-members: $15

Door sales: $20

Rules:

• Doors will open at 8pm, and you must be in line before 9:30 pm or else you will NOT be let in. One way door policy applies at all times.

• As this event is strictly 18+, a viable form of ID is required (driver’s license / passport)

• Members, you will also need to bring your student ID with your AUES ‘25 sticker.

• No alcohol is to be consumed outside the venue; sheriffs will be searching the surrounding area. If you’re caught, you will not be allowed in and could be fined. Don’t risk it. There are plenty of drinks at the venue. 

• Respect the venue, staff, and each other – no one likes a cowboy who can’t hack their liquor.

With that being said, get ready to saddle up in your best Western fit, and we’ll see you at our first stein for the year!
