Chamber Jazz of Latin America with Paloma Bica , Violin  Paul Van Ross, Woodwinds,  Alexander Nettelbeck, Piano performing the music of  Pixinguinha , Astor Piazzolla, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and more!

Melbourne-based violinist Paloma Bica moves fluidly between classical, world, and contemporary music. Trained at the Victorian College of the Arts, she completed further studies in Argentina and a Master of Teaching at the University of Melbourne. Specialising in tango, she is a founding member of the Melbourne Tango Orchestra and the Mosaicas Quartet. Passionate about performing world music and teaching, Paloma has appeared on stages from Australia to Argentina, engaging in collaborative projects that blur the boundaries between genres.

A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, Paul Va Ross currently lives in Melbourne, Australia. A talented woodwind specialist, he has been performing and teaching for over 20 years on saxophone, flute and clarinet. He studied in New York (1996 & 2013) with some of the world’s leading teachers and musicians, including Ari Hoenig, George Garzone, George Coleman, Barry Harris, Seamus Blake, Itai Kriss and many more. His performances are highly energetic and display rhythmic prowess and bare influences from many genres of music. In 2013 Paul recorded & studied in New York and Cuba. He has toured and performed extensively in many parts the world.

Pianist, keyboardist, composer and producer, Alexander Nettelbeck has recorded and performed in Australia, Europe, Asia and Oceania with and alongside artists including Aria Award winning singer/songwriter Pat Powell, Stella Anning, baroque violinist Davide Monti (Italy), Saxophonist Abiy Sahle, Vivian Sessoms (USA), drummer and producer Simone White, Guitarist and producer Mikey Chan, Composer Gordon Harvey, Singer Songwriter , Eric McGrath (Ireland/Spain), Simone Gill, Lazaro Numa, Marcia Hines, EDM producer and songwriter Vassy, Deni Hines, Kate Ceberano, Vikka And Linda, and others. Alexander’s original compositions have featured in dance/ theatre productions, in film & television and radio including ABC and SBS and throughout the world.
