Patricia Coffee Brewers will be transforming into a coffee cocktail bar for one night only as locally-made Grada Coffee + Spirit joins the team to show off the versatility of coffee-meets-booze. And yes, there will be Espresso Martinis, but much, much more as well.
Produced in Melbourne, Grada is a single-farm coffee, fortified with Australian grain spirit and sugar. The cocktail menu has been developed by Grada’s co-creator Darren Leaney (ex-Capitano / Aru, current Caretakers Cottage) who will be there making drinks on the night.
Accompanying this coffee and cocktail party is Tarts Anon, the beloved desserts produced in Collingwood. For the event they’ve created a bespoke Grada Hazelnut tart made with short crust pastry, hazelnut caramel, Grada crème diplomat, caramalised choux pastry and a hazelnut & Grada financier.
Grada’s takeover of Patricia will start at 5pm, with bookable 50 min sessions till 9pm. One not to miss - a $25 ticket to the event gets you your choice of coffee cocktail and guaranteed slice of Grada Hazlenut tart.
Tickets are for Grada by Night sessions, roll up to Patricia any time during the day for Stella by Day.
Stella will be putting on a small menu of espresso and filter, including the same coffee that Grada uses as its base - Fazenda Progresso from Bahia, Brazil. Inspired by this duality of the coffee, the event is being dubbed Stella By Day, Grada By Night.
