  • How do students book a Thrift Rack?

Students can book a dedicated Thrift Rack through Humanitix for $50. Racks are limited, so we recommend booking early. Racks go on sale on September 14th. We will provide the rack for the day; please bring a hanger for each piece of clothing you will sell on the day.

  • Do students keep the money from their sales?

Yes. Students run their own rack and keep the proceeds from the items they sell.

  • How should customers pay at student Thrift Racks?

Students manage payments for their own sales. PayID is recommended, although sellers can choose the payment methods that work best for them.

  • Can I Donate Textbooks?

We welcome recent editions of textbooks, so please keep in mind that the digital code included in some textbooks is designed for single use only and will therefore be invalid for any re-sale. English texts are also a great idea should you choose to drop these of too.

EFTPOS will be available for all Stella uniform purchases on the day, and cash is also welcome.

Yes. There will be food, coffee and entertainment available throughout the day, so come along, have a browse and enjoy the market atmosphere.

  • Do I need a ticket to attend?

Yes. Please book your event ticket through Humanitix in advance. This helps us manage numbers and plan for the day. Tickets are free.

  • What happens if it rains?

Thrift & Thrive will proceed in wet weather, with undercover areas available at Stella Maris College. We recommend checking the weather and dressing accordingly.

In the unlikely event that Thrift & Thrive cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond the organisers' reasonable control, registered attendees will be notified as soon as possible with details of any cancellation, postponement or alternative arrangements.

Uniform Drop-Off Process and Need-to-Know

Please note all proceeds will help fund future projects for Stella students

Re-Sell or Donate?

We welcome donations or the chance to re-sell your unwanted uniforms, uniform items, or school curriculum items.

In order to participate, you have 2 options:

1.        Re-Sell and receive approximately 50% of the cost that will be charged on our Thrift and Thrive Market Day. At the point of in-person donation of your pre-loved uniform you will receive a physical credit voucher that can be used on other pre-loved uniform items on Market Day on the 6th November. Please note this credit can be used on market day uniforms, uniform items, and school curriculum items only

OR

2.        Donate items you no longer need to find a new home within the Stella community. As with re-sale items, all proceeds will fund school projects allocated through the P&F.

School Uniform Standards and Hygiene Standards

To help us find your items a new home, please ensure all items are clean and meet school uniform standards.

Please remember that all donated textbooks will exclude one-time-use digital codes.
