STEM Club @ VPCC - Term 1 , 2025
Event description
STEM Club @ VPCC – Exploring the world of robotics and beyond!
Get ready for an exciting term filled with discovery, creativity, and hands-on innovation! This term, STEM Club will have a special focus on ROBOTICS, alongside design, engineering, and coding. Over eight weeks, participants will see how scientists and engineers solve real-world problems using logic, planning, and a spark of creativity!
This term will be slightly different from previous ones, as lessons will build on each other week by week. Some projects will span multiple sessions, giving kids the chance to dive deeper into concepts and develop their ideas.
With the help of the awesome facilitators from Curtin University STEM Outreach, kids will...
- Bring ideas to life through design, physical construction, circuits, and electronics.
- Focus on robotics and coding, applying these skills to real-world topics like health, environmental science, and space.
- Work on both structured challenges and self-directed projects based on individual passions and interests.
To make the most of the program, we encourage participants to attend all sessions, as lessons and skills connect and build upon one another throughout the program.
