STEM Community Event - Parents, Students & OGs

You’re Invited to our STEM Community Evening!

We warmly welcome our students, Old Grammarians and current parents working in the field of STEM to a special MGGS community evening.

This is an opportunity for our MGGS Senior students (Yrs 9 - 12) to hear from a panel of speakers and connect with our wider MGGS STEM network to understand career pathways, challenges and aspirations. 

While the event is STEM focused, the theme of this event is Medicine and medical pathways. The event will include a panel session followed by networking. 

Our panelists for the event are:

Alisha Nair (2024) is a former STEM Captain at MGGS and is currently in her second year studying medicine at Monash University.

Daisy Graham (2021) Daisy was a Melbourne Principals' Scholarship recipient and has started on the pathway to become a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Melbourne University. 

Jacqui Savage (2007) is a globally recognised medtech entrepreneur and innovation leader with deep expertise in the commercialization, manufacturing, and global distribution of transformative medical technologies. She has successfully launched and scaled multiple medical devices across international markets, and founded health-tech company, MedCorp.

Chanara Aberathna (2025) is a first-year student at Monash university studying the Bachelor of Medical Science and the Doctor of Medicine. She is passionate about STEM, volunteering, and making a positive difference in other people's lives.
