Children with autism, ADHD, and other learning disabilities are often left behind when it comes to STEM learning. With 30-40% of children having neurodivergent brains, it is essential for educators to understand how to support ALL students in STEM education. 

The webinar features neurodiversity advocate and experienced STEM educator Dr Lorien Parker, aka Dr Loz, who will explain the differences between neurodivergent and neurotypical brains and their unique learning needs and approaches. Dr Loz will share her expertise about how to create inclusive and accessible STEM learning environments.

Discussions will include evidence-based teaching strategies and practical tools to engage neurodivergent learners in STEM activities, while also catering to their diverse strengths and needs. The webinar will also cover topics such as planning your educational program or curriculum to support neurodivergent learners, incorporating assistive technologies, and fostering a growth mindset.
