Astronomy 101 workshop by Tauranga Astronomical Society
Tauranga Astronomical Society presents “Astronomy 101” – a fun, interactive demonstration of the basics of astronomy.
How do the planets orbit the Sun? How far away is the Moon from the Earth? How big is the Moon? How big is the Sun? How do Moon phases work?
All this and more with practical demonstrations involving audience participation.

This is a free event suitable for children aged 8-12.
All children MUST be accompanied and supervised by an adult during the entire session. ONLY CHILDREN MUST HAVE AN ENTRY TICKET.
Please arrive promptly for each session.
