To celebrate National Science Week, Perth NRM is hosting the STEM Jumpstart Program Day: Women in Agriculture and Environment.
This professional development day, delivered by Value Creators, is designed to raise the capacity of early to mid-career women in agricultural, sustainability and environmental industries and/or women who are looking for future STEM roles.
The STEM Jumpstart Program Day will provide participants with skills and tools to grow in STEM industries through a 'boot camp' style day, followed by mentorship sessions.
- Date: Thursday 8 August 2024
- Time: 8:30am-5:00pm (casual networking at the Murdoch University Guild Tavern after the event)
- Location: Murdoch University, Boola Katitjin (Building 360) Rosemary van den Berg Room 4.003 (top floor) - https://maps.murdoch.edu.au/?sharepoi=136044.003
- Cost: $55 for adult, $30 for concession (students, volunteers, currently unemployed, concession card holders)
- What to bring: Pen and paper, water bottle and reusable cup
- Food: Morning tea and lunch will be provided
