Looking for a FREE fun science activity for your kids this school holidays?
STEM Zone is presenting a different activity every day of the second week at Mid Valley Shopping Centre in Morwell (schedule below).
Suitable for primary school aged children 4+.
Hands-on activities with different themes each day. All centred around the wonder and magic of science with a Witches & Wizards theme!
Parents accompany their children for a 30-minute activity lead by experienced science teachers. Supervision is required.
Located near Rivers, sessions run between 11am and 3pm from Monday 8th July to Friday 12th July.
Bookings are essential and multiple time slots are available. Tickets checked on entry. Limited number per session so book the time you want to avoid disappointment.

MONDAY - Potions
Children use test tubes in test tube racks, mortar & pestles, etc to create colour changes, produce gases, etc along with some dynamic demonstrations to engage and excite the kids!
TUESDAY - Skeletons
Children will dissect an owl pellet to attempt to put together the tiny skeletons of the prey the owls have consumed.
WEDNESDAY - Balancing Magic
Children make objects appear to float and defy gravity! Children have a go at balancing objects on their table and they make a bird to take home with them!
THURSDAY - Magic Messages
Children create a letter using invisible ink and make colours disappear.
FRIDAY - Witches Water
Children find out some magical properties of water seemingly defying gravity. Spills and laughter galore.
