To celebrate the much-anticipated fourth edition of Tauranga STEM Festival, we’re running a nationwide digital raffle.

All tickets to be in to win are only $5 per entry!

Your purchase will help directly fund The Tauranga STEM Festival and associated activities.

The raffle is on sale from Monday, 3rd of September at 3pm and closes on Sunday, September 21st 2025, at 10:00 pm and will be drawn on Monday, September 22nd, at 11:30 am

Prize #1: Win a once-in-a-lifetime experience with E Black Player Josh King! A 30-minute play + a 1-hour lunch at STEMFest on Sunday, 28th September 2025.

For those Esports fans out there, this is something you definitely won’t forget!

Josh is New Zealand's first representative in eFootball. He has competed in many international competitions since 2022, including the Commonwealth Games.

Prize Terms & Conditions

Prizes are:

1-on-1 match with E Black JMK King (Josh King) and lunch in Tauranga CBD at STEMFest day Sunday 28th September 2025, we think this is priceless! The winner must be available to attend STEMFest on the 28th September. No alternative date will be available.
3-months Tinkd Makerspace membership for a family of four, valued at $300. Tinkd Makerspace T&Cs apply. The winner will be required to register as a member on the Tinkd website.
Silverfern Robotics. Five kits and a three-month subscription valued at $1000. The kits will be couriered to the winner after the raffle is drawn.
Dolphins Encounter experience with Dolphin Seafaris valued at $348. A voucher will be emailed to the winner after the raffle is drawn.
Set of KIX NZ designer shoe pins valued at $126. The pins will be couriered to the winner after the raffle is drawn.

Evidence of the winner’s identity and eligibility must be provided to STEM Wana Trust, or its legal advisors, Prize with Josh King must be confirmed by Wednesday September 24th 2025 otherwise the prize will be re-drawn. All other prizes must be confirmed by Tuesday September 30th 2025. If not, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be drawn.

The winners agree that their details and photograph may be used for publicity and/or promotional purposes.

Raffle Information

Ticket Price: $5 each

Time, Date and Location of Draw: Monday September 22nd 2025 at 11:30am at Basestation, 148 Durham Street, Tauranga 3110. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email immediately after the draw.

The raffle result will be listed on the Tauranga STEM Festival website and via email to all participants by Monday September 22nd 2025.

Raffle Rules

No more than 2,500 raffle tickets will be sold (numbered 1 to 2,500). Only purchased raffle tickets via Humanitix will be entered into the draw.

Entries are non-refundable once purchased.

If the lottery is cancelled, all ticket holders will be notified using the contact details provided and funds will be reimbursed in full.

Entry purchasers, by participating (and the winners by accepting the prize) release STEM Wana Trust and its respective Board, committee members, volunteers, partners, vendors, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, offers, partners, employees and agents including advertising, public relations, direct marketing and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to the participation in the promotion and possession and use of the prize awarded and also acknowledge that they did not receive any representations, warranty of guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition, or fitness.

Any liability of STEM Wana Trust shall be limited to ticket amount paid and in the case of any dispute, STEM Wana Trust’s decision shall be final.

Employees of STEM Wana Trust may not hold a ticket.
