STEP New South Wales Lunch and Learn - Wednesday 26 March 2025
Event description
STEP NSW Branch invites you to a seminar with Daniel Trimarchi, Director of Family Governance & Dynamics at KPMG.
This Lunch and Learn will be hosted at KPMG in Sydney and will include the opportunity for networking and light refreshments.
Topic: Global Family Business Survey 2024 - KPMG Australia and the role of legacy in driving business performance and sustainability.
Following the release last year of KPMG’s Global Family Business Report – Unlocking Legacy, the path to superior growth in family businesses, compiled in conjunction with The STEP Project Global Consortium (SPGC), Daniel Trimarchi, Director of Family Governance & Dynamics at KPMG will host a roundtable discussion to discuss the findings of the report and the role of legacy in driving outperformance and long term sustainability for family businesses.
The discussion will explore how family businesses can leverage their unique heritage, values, and culture to create a lasting legacy for future generations. The survey also introduces the concept of a 'legacy matrix', a framework that helps family businesses to assess and align their legacy aspirations with their strategic objectives, governance structures, and operational practices. The discussion will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the key findings and insights from the survey, and how they apply to families you support.
