Description
Since August 2026, the Supreme Court of Western Australia announced a dedicated list for probate matters resolved at mediation and which could be heard on an undefended basis. The purpose of the list is to facilitate the efficient disposal of matters and reduce delays between mediation and the making of final orders.
STEP Western Australia invites members to attend an exclusive breakfast roundtable to discuss their experiences of the new list, the outcomes achieved, and any opportunities for improvement. Feedback gathered from members will inform any future dialogue between STEP Western Australia and the Supreme Court’s Probate Committee about the list.
