One thing we love about our winter shows is their intimacy. Just a small lucky crew, nice and cosy in an old chapel listening to some very special artists, and we are so thrilled to host and welcome Steph Strings on her 'Lion EP' Launch

Steph Strings is an Australian based singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Victoria who tells a story through her music. With influences from the John Butler Trio, Kim Churchill and Ziggy Alberts, Steph’s musical style entails bursts of percussion alongside Celtic, blues and coastal fingerstyle indie-rock. In celebration of the recent release of her new single ‘LION’ Steph will be embarking on a tour of the UK
and Europe in April and May 2023 playing in 7 different countries, including support shows with Vance Joy in arena sized venues in the UK, Spain and Switzerland.

Steph Strings

Steph Strings is an Australian based singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Victoria who tells a story through her music. Steph travelled to Europe for the first time in 2022 performing multiple sold out headline shows in London and performing at French Festival Les Escales, Saint-Nazaire to celebrate the release of her EP ‘Wildfire’. The past year has also seen Steph support Kim Churchill on his National tour of Australia as well as tour Europe with the Pierce Brothers. Steph has also been breaking on to the festival circuit in Australia having already performed at Queenscliff, Ocean Sounds, Peninsula Picnic Festival and has recently been announced on lineups for Bass In The Grass and Blues on Broadbeach.

Joe Mungovan

Throughout his career, Joe Mungovan has consistently constructed melodies that expand from traditional pop and rock songwriting structures. His songs have been played across Triple j,Double J and community radio, video support across Rage and MTV and press praise in RollingStone, Pilerats, Music Feeds, Au Review, The Music to name a few. Mungovan’s songwriting has also seen him nominated for an APRA Award and Golden Guitar Award in 2021, and aFinalist in the InternationalSongwriting Competition.

Joe has shared stages with acts such as Lime Cordial, Gang Of Youths, The Preatures, PaulDempsey, JOY, Maddy Jane, The Vanns, Winterbourne, Brad Cox, Cosmo Jarvis (US), HollieSmith (NZ), Ian Moss (Cold Chisel), Mark Seymour (Hunters and Collectors), Glenn Shorrock(Little River Band

Nomes

There’s a lot of music out there right now, a lot of incredible talent and gifted individuals it’s easy to feel numb when a new artist arrives on the scene, but something about Nomes makes you stop in your tracks. Growing up in Australia’s South West, singer/songwriter Nomes brings a rich cosy sound enjoyed best fireside with a tea or wine; a sound both elegant and eclectic. Influenced by the likes of Angie McMahon and Missy Higgins, she’s not afraid of tackling the thought provoking topics in her songwriting, doing so with such ease rarely seen with a new artist. Currently working on her debut release due later this year, there’s a lot to be excited about
