Event description

Ballarat Clarendon College in association with Ballarat Grammar School, is delighted to invite you to a special mini conference led by esteemed violin performer, teacher and composer, Stephen Chin.

Friday 8 December to Saturday 9 December. Please refer to the program, below, for individual session times. 

Venue: Performing Arts Centre, Ballarat Clarendon College, Sturt Street campus. 


This is a free, ticketed event. Bookings are essential.

Friday 8 December, Session 1 – Ensemble Direction 

1.30-4.30pm Skills in developing a well-integrated string ensemble and Q&A

Saturday 9 December, Session 2 – Pedagogy

8.45-10.30am Registration and AMEB Preliminary to 2nd Grade

Saturday 9 December, Session 3 – Pedagogy

11am-12.30pm AMEB 3rd Grade to 6th Grade

Saturday 9 December, Session 4 – Pedagogy

1.30-3pm AMEB 7th Grade – AMUS and VCE

Saturday 9 December, Session 5 - Masterclass

3.15-5.15pm Masterclass and Q&A
