Event description

How do we find stillness? How often do we gift ourselves time to slow down, to be still. To still our mind. Here is a beautiful opportunity to do just that with a Forest Therapy walk!

Journey into the forest together with a small group to nourish ourselves and connect with the natural world.

This is a Forest Therapy experience, not a bush walking experience. We will not cover a large physical distance. This experience is about slowing down and exploring with all of our senses.
This walk will be guided by Rachel DeSumma an ANFT trained Forest Therapy guide.
During the experience we will invite you to slow down and connect with your surroundings and the other beings that share this space with us.
The morning will look something like this (with room for fluidity):
Gather at 10:00 am for a 10:15 start (if you're running late or lost please text me 0417 720 984 before 10am as I will no longer look at my phone after 10am)
10:15 Welcome, acknowledgement of country, 'arrive'/ ground in the space with a mindfulness meditation and, introduce ourselves.
10:15 -12:30 Engage in forest immersion activities: using our senses to connect to our surroundings
12:30 Tea ceremony and group share
1:00pm return to the starting point of the walk
This walk is limited to 10 people to ensure an intimate experience.
I wish to make this accessible to all and I wish for the experience to be of value for you.

Contribution: $30 Adults, $15 youth 12-18 years, $20 concession/ seniors
Payment secures your place. Places are limited to 10 people.
If cost is a barrier, please contact me to discuss, I wish to make this experience accessible to those who feel a pull towards engaging with nature in this way.
