On Thursday 7th May at the Red Mill Distillery, Balmain, join Steve Toltz in conversation with Julian Morrow.
Copies of A Rising of The Lights will be available for purchase at the venue through Roaring Stories, with Toltz signing copies after the discussion.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Red Mill is based in the historic White Bay Steelworks, just across from the inner-west icon, the White Bay Power Station. Red Mill makes small batches of high-quality Rum to age in a special barrel program, blended and bottled in their wonderful, industrial home. Visiting Red Mill is a chance to see the workings of an artisanal distillery, in the historic surrounds of this remarkable building. Refreshments available to purchase include wine, beer and a signature Red Mill cocktail. We look forward to welcoming you to this unique venue.
Attendees are asked to arrive at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Seating is unallocated – another reason to arrive early to secure an optimal spot.

ABOUT THE BOOK

ABOUT STEVE TOLTZ
Steve Toltz was born in Sydney, Australia in 1972. His first novel, A Fraction of the Whole, was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and the Guardian First Book Award. His second novel, Quicksand, won the 2017 Russell Prize for Humour.

ABOUT JULIAN MORROW
Julian Morrow has made a career of public nuisance in various forms, co-founding satirical media empire The Chaser and joke company Giant Dwarf, as well as making TV shows including The Election Chaser, CNNNN, The Chaser’s War on Everything, and The Checkout. His work has been nominated, unsuccessfully, for many awards, and prosecuted successfully in many courts. He now hosts Sunday Extra on ABC Radio National.
