Dementia Action Week 2026 Event

The Salvation Army Brunswick will host a free screening the movie Still Alice as part of Dementia Action Week 2026. A professor with young-onset Alzheimer's disease faces the pain of losing her sense of self while trying to live and love her family in the moment.

Dementia is now recognised as the nations leading cause of death (Australian Bureau Statistics). Join us for the movie - light refreshments and connection with the community around this important community need. Help raise awareness and learn how to be part of a growing movement of dementia-friendly communities.
