Still Full From Lunch return to The Junk Bar with the Meanjin Indie-Folk stand-outs Red Hill and the debut of the exciting new Double Date. Enjoy Junk Bar's outstanding charm and hospitality for an evening of a diverse range of acts from Brisbane's creative and passionate Indie-Rock scene. 

Double Date is a Meanjin/Brisbane based rock-and-roll ensemble, blending the spirit of indie-folk with the scope and tonal palette of post-punk. Inspired by Madison Cunningham, Alice Phoebe Lou, and Julia Jacklin, they combine a diverse range of influences to create a fun and compelling sound. Bring a loved one, and join them for a double date!

Red Hill represent the crème de la crème of Meanjin's indie folk rock groups. Their relatable songwriting, wonderful harmonies, and earnestness on stage result in a blissful and charming live show. Red Hill have something for everyone, and we are so so excited to have them on this lineup. 

Still Full From Lunch defies genres to create interesting, eclectic, and heartfelt music. Taking strong influences from Classic Rock, Post-Punk, Jazz, and Indie, the band holds a great capacity for interesting, catchy and dynamic arrangements through their use of flute, trumpet, and keys. They perform with honesty and heart, though never taking themselves too seriously.
