Thank you for your interest in Christ Church Claremont’s Christian meditation series-Still Point.

Whether you are a person of faith, or seeking and questioning, or of none, you are most welcome to join us. Through gentle movement, various breath techniques & silent contemplation, we aim to offer a sanctuary of calm. Beautiful prayers and poetry will be woven into the tapestry of the class, creating a space in which to cultivate well-being, clarity and insight.

Nurturing a deeper sense of self-awareness opens us to learning, growing and healing. Living a life path with heart, we learn to extend wisdom, kindness and compassion towards ourselves, towards others, our beautiful planet and the world at large.

Chairs and mats are provided - you are welcome to take your practice on either or both - if you wish, moving between the two.

Comfortable clothing in which to move is recommended, and we ask that you bring your own blanket and pillow or cushion. You are also welcome to bring any props you feel may enhance your experience - yoga blocks, bolsters, eye pillows, extra blankets.
