STILL 默默

STILL by Wan Vincy Chan is a multi-disciplinary performance exploring themes of grief, gender and nostalgia. After the sudden passing of their father, siblings Sai Biu and Nita attempt to reconcile their relationship, untangling tensions that have caused them to fall distant. Set in a fictional reimagination of Hong Kong, this work incorporates original song, theatrical storytelling, poetry and anime-inspired illustrations, reflecting the retrofuturistic qualities of this setting.

STILL is part of Vincy’s larger project reflecting on queer history and representation, particularly Hong Kong’s place in global culture making.
Recipient of Adelaide Festival Centre’s 2026 InSPACE x Feast Festival residency, this work is now in its final stage of development. These showings will enable the creative team to gain crucial feedback which will help inform the work’s eventual world premiere, planned for 2027.
