Event description

Celebrating strength, unity, and the sparkle of femininity.

Enter a world of glitter, sass, strength, and girlhood in Collective Circus' newest work, Stir The Pot. Tumbling through real experiences of inequality and societal pressures, this group of fierce, passionate female circus performers stir up and tear apart the traditional, domestic views of what it means to be female. In a celebration of bows, sparkle, and sheer muscle, these acrobats tackle everything from the restrictions and challenges to the connection and strength of femininity. Brace yourselves as you bear witness to a gravity-defying, nail-biting, untamed exploration of girl power.

Ages: Suitable for all ages.

Warnings: Stir The Pot by Collective Circus delves into themes of female experiences, inequality, and societal pressures. The performance may include content that some viewers find confronting or emotionally challenging. Viewer discretion is advised, and we encourage everyone to take care of their own safety and well-being.

Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, please contact the theatre for more information.

Collective Circus acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, Meanjin, where we work, play, and create, the Jagera and Turrbal people. We pay our respects to the Elders past and present as they have cared for and nurtured this land since the very first sunrise. Always was. Always will be.
