stitch & screen: a cinema and craft evening by bayt kita

bayt kita is delighted to introduce our first cinema and craft evening.

step into club 25, softly reimagined as a cinema, with a chic spread of old favourites: buttered popcorn, il locale pizza, and homemade french hot chocolate with cream. then settle in with the bayt kita girls to stitch and craft together as howl’s moving castle shines on the screen. in between, slip behind our blue backdrop for a digital portrait to remember the night.

the craft
each guest chooses a photo that holds a memory for her. please upload a landscape photo when you book and we’ll convert it to black and white to make it pop, then print it and mount it on white cardstock for you. we’ll pre-punch the holes, so all that’s left is to cross-stitch your chosen characters beside your photo, in small red stitches. no experience needed. you’ll leave with a quiet little keepsake that feels entirely yours.

what’s included
buttered popcorn, two slices of il locale pizza per guest, homemade french hot chocolate with cream, all craft materials, your digital portrait, and your finished momento to take home. our pizza is vegetarian and halal by default, as no meat is used, and our hot chocolate is made with lactose free milk. the cream is not lactose free, so just let us know if you’d like yours without.

before you book
you’ll be asked to upload your photo at checkout, so have it ready. please choose a landscape photo that holds a memory for you. it looks especially beautiful against the red thread.

your stitch
choose two characters for your personal stitch. pick any letter from the alphabet and/or our range of symbols: heart, star or ribbon.
examples: “a / a”, “a / heart”, “star / ribbon”
you’ll choose your two characters at checkout, and we’ll prep your cardstock for you. all stitching is in red thread.

big love,
bayt kita
