FAQs
- Is this workshop suitable for beginners?
YES absolutely! No experience is required, just a positive mindset and some patience :)
- Do I bring my own garments to mend?
No that is definitely not required.
The workshop will follow a structured process of learning and practising various stitching and mending techniques, and for those that finish their stitch samplers quickly we will have boro and sashiko fabrics available to create your own unique take-home patches to use in future repairs.
However you are welcome to bring in your own garments and we are more than happy to give you mending advice for them, and if time allows towards the end of the workshop you are welcome to start on them instead of creating take-home patches.
