Audio Description Track

As part of our commitment to embed intersectionality while increasing accessibility and inclusivity, the Curtin Gender Research Network contributed to developing an audio description track for the film to make it accessible for blind and low vision audiences, particularly important given the film’s creative decision to hold back dialogue until the finale when the protagonist delivers a keynote.

The film’s audio description (AD) was created by Alison Myers, a Curtin PhD candidate and sessional academic supervised by Dr Kerreen Ely-Harper, Senior Lecturer in Screen Arts, and previously JCD Professor Katie Ellis. It was commissioned and funded by the Network through its 2026 Access and Inclusion projects, led by Academic Co-Leads Associate Professor Samantha Owen and Dr Divya Garg with Dr Tien Nguyen (Curtin Singapore).
