Your teacher Cherie loves paper. She makes it, dyes it, decorates it, collects and repurposes it. In this class Cherie will introduce you to Junk Journals as you collate, decorate and bind your own soft cover journal.

In this class you'll collate a soft-cover notebook out of hand dyed and purposely distressed pages, giving your journal an old-fashioned quality. We will then design the covers using old-fashioned images and add vintage elements like stitching, lace, buttons and trinkets to make the notebook a one-of-a-kind piece unique to you.

Then we'll learn to bind our journal! The finished piece will be sturdy enough to use for a variety of creative mediums including writing, sketching, painting.

All materials provided, just come and have a great time.
