Event description
Palestinian Christians in Australia and Gina Barjeel are delighted to host a night of Palestinian cultural heritage.
The event will include:
1. Showcase Palestinian Tatreez designed by new arrivals from Gaza and local Palestinian community. We will exhibit and sell exquisite embroidery designed by Palestinian artists from Gaza.
2. Learn about the history of Palestinian Tatreez from Australian Palestinian Fashion Designer Gina Barjeel.
3. Showcase Art designs created by Palestinian artists from Gaza and Australia.
4. Music and Dabkeh performance by 4 Gaza dancers.
5. Enjoy Henna design.
6. Learn the art of Zaghrouta (unique Palestinian Ululation)
7. Palestinian Knafeh, Arabic coffee and Palestinian cuisine
