It’s an age-old question that has some of the best minds in the world at loggerheads: what’s more important, the people or the product?

A quick survey around your office would show that both play an integral role in the success of a startup business, but one has to be more important than the other…right?

We’re about to try to answer that question as we bring together top tier talent from both the People and Culture, and the Product Management fields to battle it out in our very first Basement Debate!

Meet your panelists on the PEOPLE side:

Joydip Das: Chief Product Officer at Iress
Aaron Chipper: CTO & CoFounder at FrankieOne
Alana Shepherd: Executive Manager - People Agility at REA Group

And on the PRODUCT side we have:

Markus Giesen - Chief Product Officer at Render Networks
Lulu Young: Former Director of Product at Afterpay
Amanda Ralph: Principal Product Manager at PaperCut Software

But no matter how prestigious the experts are, you hold the power and get to decide once and for all which team will reign supreme. Will you vote for people? Or will you throw your lot in with product?

Join us for this exciting verbal smackdown at 5.30pm on Thursday 4th August hosted in the brand new Stone & Chalk Melbourne HQ at 121 King Street, Melbourne.

Tickets are limited so grab your popcorn and reserve your seat quickly to ensure you don’t miss out.

Ready, set... DEBATE!
