This event has passed Register

Event description

How will tech innovation impact Australia’s wine and tourism industries and what does the future of wine look like? Join us to find out! Stone & Chalk and FOMENT join forces to bring you an exclusive two-part experience that will conclude with a wine tasting brought to you by some of Adelaide’s finest winemakers.

Session 1 - The Great FOMENT Debate (5.30 pm - 6.30 pm)

As participants, you will have the opportunity to hear from startups debating three different perspectives on where technology will have the biggest impact on Australia and the global wine industry. Audience members will then get the chance to vote on the strongest argument to crown a winner.

The debate will be moderated by Chester Osborne of d’Arenberg, with the startups and alumni of the FOMENT Accelerator program.

Session 2 - The Future of Wine & Live Tastings (6:40 pm - 7:30 pm)

Part two of the event will kick off with a panel to discuss innovation and the future of wine. Next, you will be joined by the makers of Jukes Cordialities, sharing their unique wine alternative. There will also be an exclusive wine tasting experience brought to you by Adelaide’s own, The Lane Vineyard.

The discussion will be moderated by Dan Ryan, Community Manager of Stone & Chalk. He will be joined by wine and climate experts, including:

  • Oliver Madgett - Founder, Platform
  • Richard Leask - Managing Director, Leask Agri
  • Sarah Keough - Viticulturist and Grower Liaison, Bleasdale
  • Henry Hardy - Head of Sales, Jukes Cordialities
  • Matthew Jukes - The Creator of Jukes Cordialities
