Turn it up and lose yourself in one of the greatest concert films ever made.

Filmed over four nights at Hollywood’s Pantages Theater in 1983, Stop Making Sense captures Talking Heads at the height of their powers, with David Byrne and the band joined by an extraordinary ensemble of musicians and backing vocalists.

From Byrne’s unforgettable oversized suit to the exhilarating build of the opening beat, the film transforms a concert into a piece of pure cinema — inventive, joyous, strange and endlessly energetic.

Directed by Jonathan Demme, Stop Making Sense is Talking Heads at their most electrifying, and a film that still feels as fresh and exciting as ever.
