ABOUT SIMONE DE HAAS

A multi-award-winning Theatre Producer, Director and Actor, Simone de Haas has directed major musicals throughout Queensland such as Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, CATS, West Side Story and Sound of Music as well as over 100 comedies and dramas, as Artistic Director of her own professional theatre company.

As an international speaker, Simone de Haas has spoken on stages around the world including New Zealand, Singapore and Las Vegas as well as most capital cities in Australia. Her topics include The Theatre of Leadership, Conscious Communication & Business Storytelling as well as Stagecraft for Speakers. She is an experienced Interviewer, a masterful communicator, and a highly sought-after insightful Coach and Mentor, working with international speakers, thought-leaders, authors and experts to prepare keynotes, presentations and TEDx talks – both in person and virtually.

Simone has worked as a Lecturer at Griffith University (Qld Conservatorium) and Queensland University of Technology in Acting for Musical Theatre and Performance Studies, and as Guest Director for the Opera Studio at the University of Southern Queensland.
