Digital Art - Stop-motion animation workshop
Learn stop-motion animation with artist Isobel Knowles as part of Forever I Live by JXSH Muir exhibition’s public program. Isobel will teach you the basics of stop-motion animation using found and bought images. Participants will position images, document and manipulate them through digital technology creating an animated artwork. Isobel will guide you through the process and provide techniques.
What to bring:
-Bring a self-portrait (A4 size sketch)
-Three objects or reflections or ideas (this could be a line from a favourite author or a gift from a friend or family member, a favorite nail polish colour)
-Android tablet and ipad preferred but can use Android phone or iphone

This workshop is for people over 18 years old.

About Isobel Knowles
Isobel loves working collaboratively with people to create stories and immersive experiences. Isobel uses playful visual metaphors to add multiple layers of understanding and expression in digital stories. She finds it particularly exciting to combine new and old technologies together in installation, augmented and virtual reality projects. Isobel has experience working from script development all the way through to finished production as well as finding unique ways to use existing material to create something new.
