Join Canberra’s very own Tim the Yowie Man for his one-of-a-kind Stories at Sunset tour. Wander the grounds with him as he recounts tales of Lanyon’s early families and workers during a sunset tour of the historic cemetery and continuing under a cloak of darkness, for a behind-the-scenes tour of Lanyon Homestead and outbuildings.
This tour is a unique experience that shines a spotlight on the untold stories of this historic property and is not for the faint-hearted and is aimed at participants aged 16 years and over.
The tour involves walking over uneven ground and occasionally in low lighting with the total walk being approximately 2.5km. Please wear long pants, covered walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing. BYO water bottle and torch. Reasonable fitness required.
