🌱 Want to know more about your food? Join us for this expert panel and exhibit of sustainable farming stories 📣

Food provided, with time to mingle with agrifood systems experts, including farmers.

Alongside the panel, the event will feature stories of sustainable agriculture documented from across Victoria by Field Notes, told via photographs and film.

Panelists:

Sarah Parker
Sarah is Executive Officer of the Victorian Farmers Markets Association, Chair, Goulburn Broken CMA and dairy farmer in the Goulburn Valley.

With over two decades in agriculture, education, and community development, she brings deep experience in sustainable farming, rural leadership, and grassroots advocacy. Named the 2022 Australian Rural Community Leader of the Year, Sarah connects policy, practice, and people—championing resilient local food systems and equitable decision-making across the sector.

Emma Coath
Emma is Executive Chair of Rocket Seeder, one of Australia’s leading accelerators supporting entrepreneurs and researchers creating sustainable solutions in food and agriculture.

She brings to the panel extensive insights into the cutting edge of sustainability initiatives in agriculture, while drawing connections between farming and both planetary and individual health

Dheepa Jeyapalan
Dheepa is the Food Systems Lead Convener at Regen Melbourne, and has previously worked as Healthy and Sustainable Food Systems Manager at VicHealth.

We're excited to hear her inspiration and insights as one of Melbourne's leading voices on food systems transformation, towards local, accessible, and sustainable produce.

Charlotte Bartlett-Wynne
Charlotte is a farmer and co-founder of Farm Raiser, a mixed-vegetable urban farm located in Bellfield.

As a not-for-profit farm, Farm Raiser aims to make high-quality food accessible to the local community, while stewarding their land and providing education and vocational pathways for students with disabilities.
