Leave the city behind and journey into the ancient landscapes of South Australia's Flinders Ranges for a restorative weekend of nature connection, creativity and slow exploration.

Stories, Sketching & Stillness is a three-day, two-night retreat created by Hannah from Habitat Connection Co. and Lisa from Big Heart Adventures. Combining gentle adventure, mindful observation and nature journaling, this experience invites you to slow down, awaken your curiosity, and reconnect with the natural world through creativity and presence.

Departing from Adelaide, we'll travel north through South Australia's changing landscapes, stopping at the Arid Lands Botanic Garden in Port Augusta for a guided walk and your first nature journaling experience among Australia's remarkable arid-zone flora. We'll then continue to our private bush retreat at Pichi Richi Park, nestled beneath the rugged ranges, where we'll spend two nights immersed in nature.

Across the weekend you'll enjoy gentle walks, storytelling, reflective workshops, quiet moments in nature, shared meals, campfires beneath star-filled skies, and plenty of time to simply rest, wander and reconnect. We'll conclude our journey with a scenic drive through the Clare Valley before returning to Adelaide.
