    We are thrilled that after sell out launches on the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Melbourne and Northern Rivers Region, Stories that Stir™, is now launching in Brisbane. It's being produced by fabulous local host Willow Pryor, and its going to be next level amazing!

    Join us on 15th May where you'll hear from six inspiring people, who will be sharing their 10-minute raw and personal story, linked to the theme TRANSFORMATION, in all its shapes and forms.

    The Stories that Stir™ event series was designed to break down barriers, stir conversation, and inspire positive change.

    TREK 2 RECONNECT – Lizz Hills

    In 2023 Lizz walked 6000 kilometers across Australia's centre in response to global crises, aiming to inspire appreciation for the planet and highlight our interconnectedness. Lizz's journey symbolise's personal transformation, sparking urgency for collective action to protect our home, Earth. Hear her tale of transformation.

    BORN TO BE – Zac Callaghan

    Zac is a trans-masculine, non-binary, queer, writer, actor, facilitator, and therapist…with ADHD! Constantly transitioning, Zac’s story celebrates diversity, champions optimism, and is a playful reminder that it’s never too late to become the person you’re born to be.

    THE ONE THING - Steve Plummer

    Kicks in the gut, constant mental chaos, kids, career changes, and 35 years of tiring personal development later, a chance encounter showed Steve “The One Thing” he needed to unlock the key to finding his authentic self.

    BACK TO NATURE – Willow Pryor

    In the realm of future thinking, Willow stood out for her skill at guiding clients through narrative transformations, crafting pathways to brighter futures. Yet, it was an unexpected turn in her own life's story that truly unveiled the profound potency of the process she championed. Overnight, Willow's family dynamic transformed dramatically, evolving from one young child to a bustling household of three. Hear how changing her story helped her change her life.

    WALK YOUR TRUTH – Leroy Midgely

    After surviving a near-death car accident at age 18, Leroy was told he would suffer with pain for the rest of his life. Refusing to accept the diagnosis set Leroy on a journey of healing and natural therapies eventually making a full recovery that lead him down a path of becoming a healer and massage therapist. He now speaks about what he learned to support others who are also on a healing journey.

    LITTLE BABY STEPS – Dr Jenelle Tupek

    Raised amidst scarcity, drugs, and violence, Jenelle set out on a 10-year journey to slowly unravel the tortuous entanglements of her past. Diagnosed with a myriad of complex and chronic illnesses, she learned that her body was only reflecting her internal state of mind. Choosing to get educated, face her abusers, and turn towards a life of purpose, she steps out of the comfort of her clinic, to tell the story that none of her patients have heard.

    *Trigger warning: Story content may include sensitive topics such as trauma, suicide, death etc

    *Food and drinks are available at the venue. The amazing WAU meals will be available on the evening. Food Connect will have the bar running. Please come earlier if you would like to eat. Food will be available during the break 7.15-7.45 but  there will be no food during the stories- Start time 6.30pm
