Back by popular demand! Join Halima as she guides you through the techniques used to create Arabic calligraphic art. Explore the unique modulations of this art form through the pictograms, strokes and lettering. Create a small work using these new skills and take your creation home with you!

Halima A. Bhatti is a Pakistani artist based in Hobart. Her artworks reflect deep connections and sacred knowledge through the ancient art of calligraphy. Halima’s work draws from Arabic and Urdu quotations from the Holy Quran and Sufi poems, through which she expresses elements of peace and connectedness in her paintings.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time. All classes will start promptly.
