| Create, experiment, and learn about the colourful Ukrainian folk art style, Samchykivka. Participants in this workshop will learn about the origins and characterisations of this unique style of folk art and sue their new-found knowledge to create their own Samchykivka-style greting card. Particpiamnts will take home their greeting card. Your facilitator Anna Mykhalchuk is an artist and author-illustrator who works in the Ukrainian folk-art style named Samchykivka. Anna loves to explore the connections between people and the diversity of nature. Anna came to nipaluna/ Hobart from Ukraine in 2022 with her family and says that creating and sharing Ukranian folk art continues to provide a point of pride and connection to her country and her culture.
