Story Narratives workshop
Event description
Led by acclaimed author Bonny Cassidy, this session begins with a special reading from her memoir, Monument, which traces her family’s journey through the Wimmera Mallee. From there, we’ll dive into a guided conversation about personal experiences of local history and environment, and shared reflections on how the past lives in the present. Together, we’ll explore how listening closely and different styles of storytelling can help us understand community, resilience, repair and belonging.
Ideal for a writer who loves to discuss history and place, and anybody with a spirit of curiosity, compassion and close listening.
Please arrive 10 mins before.
The workshop begins at the NC2 and will continue outdoors on the Verj parkland.
