Story Soirée: a Melbourne Open Mic Event

Join us for a night of provocative, evocative readings brought to you by Words of a Feather and The Provocative Inklings.
All are welcome to put their name in the hat to share writing and stories in any format (max. 5 minutes).
All are also welcome to simply enjoy a wonderful night of readings.
The theme for October? SPOOKY.
Story Soirées are held every second month. This will be our final Story Soirée for 2025 - but mark for calendars for December 6th, for this will be our book launch party!
Bookings are essential.
Structure:
6.30 - 7pm: Doors open. Mingle, settle in, grab yourself a drink. Put your name into the reading hat (completely optional)!
7 - 9pm: Doors close, and the readings begin! There will be a short break about halfway through. The Soirée will conclude with a brief closing message from Words of a Feather and Provocative Inklings, and time to chat with new and old friends.
