Story Time & Craft at Paper Bird

Join us for magical storytelling and creative crafts! Our resident bookseller-from-abroad, Freya Blyth, has curated four wonderful sessions for ages 2-6, each with an enchanting theme set to spark imaginations. All skills are welcome and materials are provided. Book ahead to secure your spot—spaces are limited! Please make sure to book a ticket for each session you would like to attend ($25/session). 

JANUARY 10: MAGICAL WORLDS

Step into magical worlds filled with wonder and adventure! Explore faraway lands and whimsical tales that will leave your little ones spellbound. After Story Time, create your own magical masterpiece to bring the story to life.

JANUARY 17: FIERCE FAIRYTALES

Discover bold and brave heroes in these modern twists on classic fairy tales. Your child will enjoy a fun and empowering Story Time, followed by crafting their own fierce fairytale-inspired creation.

JANUARY 24: PIXIES AND ELVES

Get ready to meet playful pixies and mischievous elves in this enchanting session! Little ones will love these delightful tales and the chance to make their very own pixie or elf-themed craft.

JANUARY 31: UNDER THE SEA

Dive into an underwater adventure filled with curious sea creatures and colourful coral kingdoms! After enjoying these oceanic tales, children can create a craft inspired by the magic of the sea.

Freya Blyth is the passionate owner of Bookshop by the Sea in Wales, where she blends her love for literature and creativity. A writer and poet with over seven years of experience leading children’s art workshops, Freya delights in inspiring young minds through storytelling and hands-on activities.
